My Online Assistant
I have just started using Google Calendar to keep and organize my schedule. I can now share events and happenings with my friends and family, and even exchange schedules with my clients. We can all view each others schedules and know when everyone is available, and that makes scheduling a lot easier. Invitations can be sent and tracking reservations is also easy. We can also view our calendars on our mobile phones. Now I can view my schedule wherever I may be.
I remember a time just a year ago when I missed my grandmother’s 80th birthday because my secretary was out sick. The customized reminders in Google calendar will make sure this doesn’t happen again. The notifications can be sent either by email or text message. I can also synchronize my calendar with other desktop applications like MS Outlook, Apple iCal and Mozilla Sunbird, and even attach links to it like the Australia business directory. And with Google Calendar’s offline access feature , I can also view my schedule even when I don’t have access to the internet. I wouldn’t have to miss out on any important event ever again.
With all these free services from Google Calendar, life is much more simple and easier to handle. My schedule nowadays is as busy as ever, but now I don’t have to feel stressed out when my staff is on vacation. I even thought of getting rid of my personal assistant now that I have more control of my life. Well, almost. Somebody still has to make me coffee.
